Housed in a Victorian schoolhouse, Rose Center for the Arts is the cultural and performing arts hub of the Lakeway area. It features an art gallery with changing exhibits, various adult and youth classes, a wide variety of musical performances, and much more. Many local artists offer their works for sale in the Center's sales gallery. Annual events such as Spring Thyme in the Garden craft and garden show, Mid-Summer Social art auction, and From Africa to Appalachia exhibit call the Rose Center home. It is also the location of the award-winning Mountain Makins festival, a celebration of Appalachian culture and folklife held annually on the fourth weekend in October.
Sat. 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
