The McClung Museum of Natural History and Culture is a general museum with permanent exhibitions on archaeology and the Native Peoples of Tennessee, the geology and fossil history of Tennessee, ancient Egypt, decorative arts, human origins, antique natural history prints, and the Civil War Battle of Fort Sanders. It also presents three special temporary exhibitions a year. Admission is free.
