Kaizen

Kaizen is a laid back Asian restaurant located in the heart of downtown Knoxville, just a block and a half off Market Square. Looking to follow the Japanese practice of Kaizen and continuous improvement, the restaurant features an ever changing menu with specials daily. 

At it's most simple, an izakaya is a small Japanese-style pub featuring tapas-style small plates. Izakayas are meant to be fun, casual and communal. Kaizen strives to emulate the izakaya atmosphere, while incoporating not only Japanese cuisine, but other Asian cuisines and influences including Szechuan and Thai. We may not always be perfectly traditional, but we do always work to provide the best ingredients, food, and experience possible.
