While the collection focuses on Tennessee, especially East Tennessee, visitors will find materials for all 50 states. The collection includes genealogies, manuscripts, county records and histories, military and land records, African American and Cherokee research materials, and access to national computer databases. The East TN History Center is a branch of the Knox County Public Library.
