River Gorge Excursions, LLC is a Pontoon Boat Tour and Rental Company located along the scenic Tennessee River Gorge just 15 minutes away from Downtown Chattanooga. Our vision is to promote and share the beauty and history of the TN River Gorge. If you feel a need to get away, the TN River Gorge makes you feel like you are hours away from the rest of society. There is a peace and calmness about the water and the mountains that make you forget about all the troubles and stress that come along with your daily routines. We want to give customers a chance to appreciate everything nature has to offer with this eye-opening experience on the TN River.
River Gorge Excursions’ No. 1 goal is to bring joy and excitement to every person who steps onto one of our boats. We want individuals to escape and explore the outdoors to see all the beauty that God has put into His creations.
Our Pontoon tour charters are 2 hours long and go 7 miles deep into the breath taking TN River Gorge. These are private trips so the only people on the boat will be the people in your group making it a more intimate experience. Our Captain tells history and stories of the River Gorge and surrounding areas on the tour. Customers are welcome to bring any type of food and beverages on the tour. We offer tours from May till the middle/end of November so you can come check out the gorgeous fall colors with us!
We also offer half day and full day pontoon boat rentals where you can take the boat out yourself. Rentals are a fun way to experience the river if you have a bigger party or want to have the boat for a full day.
