TRG Island Cabins are part of a 13 acres of "PRIVATE" property on a island inside the Gorge with 1,800' ft. mountains and cliffs all around it. Most beautiful and untouched part  of the 26 miles TRG. Highest mountains of the 652 miles of the Tennessee River. The river is 1/2 mile wide at TRG Island. Cabins are on the water 'in shade all day'. You can not see or hear one cabin from the other.

"NO STEEP LAND OR STAIRS"   Island  4' ft. out of water. Docks even with TRG Island.  Heave rains "DO NOT  AFFECT RIVER LEVEL"  We are up and down 1 ' to 3' ft.  daily year round.

 TRG Island Cabins come with SWIMMING POOL (May 1 st) boat dock, fire wood, one canoe or two kayaks, gas grills and FREE fire wood. We are about 19 miles from Chattanooga, 5 miles from The Tennessee wall, 21 miles from Ruby Falls, Rock City, Incline Railway, Raccoon and Lookout Mountains. Cabin #1 is 40 feet from the river and only three feet down to the water. One person Jacuzzi  tub in bathroom, full kitchen, Thomasville Serta queen bed, twin La-Z-Boy sleeper sofa surrounded by tongue and groove pine, cedar cabinetry and cedar beams in vaulted ceiling. The Tennessee River Gorge also consists of 24,000 acres of land carved through the Cumberland Mountains by 27 miles of the Tennessee River. It is one of the most unique natural treasures in the Southeast. It is the only large river canyon bordering a mid-size city (Chattanooga) and is the fourth largest river canyon east of the Mississippi. The Gorge begins approximately five miles downstream from downtown Chattanooga, right across from Williams Island, flowing past TRG Cabins and continues a total of 27 river miles to Hales Bar Dam Marina near Nickajack Lake.
