Puckett's 5th & Church's motto is "Real Food, Real People, Real Atmosphere" and they live up to it, serving southern food like fried green beans, barbecue and catfish in a relaxed environment. Live music is performed every night and often highlights new talent. Make sure to make a reservation and arrive either Thursday night or earlier in the evening on the weekends because there is often a cover charge later in the evening on Friday and Saturday.
Live on the Green
Lightning 100's Live on the Green makes every summer musical with free concerts every Thursday from mid-August to Labor Day weekend in Public Square Park. This is a free concert series that features talented local artists and well-known artists such as Jimmy Eat World, X Ambassadors, Jenny Lewis, Judah & the Lion and more. Bring your own blanket to sit on or make your way to the front of the stage. There are lots of food trucks and vendors as well.
Jazz on the Cumberland
Enjoy a free jazz concert as part of the Jazz on the Cumberland concert series on select Sundays in May to October at Cumberland Park. The crowd is much smaller than something like Live on the Green, but the music is never a disappointment. Bring a blanket to sit on and enjoy live performances by local, regional and national acts as they serenade you to sunset. A kid's play zone, surprise guest appearances, giveaways and food trucks round out the fun evenings.
B.B. King's Blues Club
Follow the blues, soul and rock 'n' roll sounds to B.B. King's Blues Club in downtown Nashville. Order up ribs and signature drinks to kick back and enjoy a full night of unforgettable music.
The Station Inn
On Sundays, you can go to The Station Inn in the Gulch neighborhood to hear some of the best bluegrass and roots music in town. The Bluegrass Jam begins every Sunday night at 8 p.m. Hear from some of the great musicians who call Nashville home. All event tickets are first come, first served so be sure you arrive in plenty of time to grab a drink beforehand.
Robert's Western World
Part of the iconic Honky Tonk Highway in downtown Nashville, Robert's Western World is one of the longstanding honky tonks close to the Ryman Auditorium and other great Nashville landmarks. Every night, you can grab a table or dance near the stage to hear traditional country music. It's a fan favorite for locals and visitors alike. Everyone has a good time at Robert's.
