This is the Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area-East Rim Overlook colorblind viewfinder, a popular overlook that offers impressive views of the Big South Fork River gorge, and is a popular spot within the park — particularly during the fall season. From the Park Headquarters, drive north on TN-297 for 272 feet, turn left and drive for .07 of a mile to the East Rim Overlook Trailhead.
From this viewfinder, you'll also see a section of the Cumberland Plateau, which has 125,000 acres offering scenic hiking, beautiful gorges and picturesque overlooks.
