Little River Campground, situated on the Little River in Townsend has 70 Rv sites and 40 tent camping sites, complete with picnic tables and fire pits. There is a camp store for minor supplies and a small patio to share a beer on while looking at the river. Mature trees shade the campsites. Patrons may play in the Little River, fish, tube and ride bicycles. Campers often visit the farm next door, where fallow deer, donkeys, sheep, llamas, miniature horses, goats, elk and a brahma bull and miniature steer great them. A true sense of one with nature exists in this campground. Come experience some of the best East Tennessee has to offer.
