HOME to beautiful mountain views of the valley below, or from the valley to the rugged mountains above.  Pause along a rural backroad to observe a barn hand painted with family’s quilt-square.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       

HOME to cascading waterfalls. Take a selfie wading in front of the popular Elrod Falls. It’s an easy stroll.   

Home to Mahala Mullins, a local moonshiner who was “Catchable but not Fetchable.”  This notable Melungeon lady could never be brought to justice. 

Home to leisurely backroad motorcycle rides. Ride the eight legs of “The Spider!” from Willis to Xenophon and points in between. Sneedville, TN. 

HOME to “One of the last great places on Earth” says The Nature Conservancy.  At Kyles Ford, the upper Clinch River has the largest collection of fresh water mussels. The water is that pure. 

HOME to outdoor adventure.  Canoe or fish the waters with friends. There are hiking and hunting opportunities as well. 

Home to River Place on the Clinch. This “old school” country store serves hot home cuisine. There is live music outside on the porch in the summer. Rent one of their cabins and call it “Home.”
