Come visit and sample our hoop cheese or order a bologna sandwich, a soda pop and a fresh homemade pie. The store has been the center of social interaction and commercial exchange for community members and visitors since its inception in the early 1930s by my grandparents, R. M. and NETTIE BROOKS. To me (their granddaughter, Linda Sue), however, its walls have been my home; the people who enter its door, my extended family.
Inside we have family memorabilia dating back to my founding great grandfather, R. M. Brooks. You will find items to take home and others to admire.
We are just down the road from Historic Rugby and trails into the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area.
