The Center for Historic Preservation houses a significant collection of preservation publications, maps, research and reference materials. Established in 1984, the Center for Historic Preservation (CHP) undertakes preservation, history and education project throughout Tennnessee, the South and the Nation. CHP is a research and public service instute at Middle Tennessee State University situated in Murfreesboro, TN.
