Fiddlers Grove Historical Village

A historic village tucked into the middle of the Wilson County Fairgrounds, Lebanon.  With approximately 60 buildings, this village encompasses life as it was during the settlement of Wilson County, Tennessee, through the Industrial Age.  Pioneer life is exhibited by the many artifacts and hand-made items used by settlers to the region.  You will see the progression through time as the simple life became an agricultural lifestyle with lots of hard work to keep the family fed.   Many tools used by these people present an education in itself.  Tour century-old buildings including an original church, blacksmith shop, school house, general store,  cobbler shop,  train station, corn crib barn with farm equipment of days gone by.  There's a model train museum filled with two rooms of trains,  a caboose, and many more.  The funeral home, hardware store, barber shop, and grocery store are indicative of late 1800s and early 1900s.  Docents are available to give educational tours or you can visit on your own.  There's something to explore at each building.
