The Bonnie Kate Theater is an historic 1926 movie palace being brought back to become a hub of cultural and civic life. Patrons currently enjoy movies and live local performance, volunteers from the community donate time and funding, and the community works together to bring a new vision to life. This vision includes the ability to provide a venue for live theatrical stage performances, musical concerts, public forums, presentations, cultural events, conferences, and to show classic and independent cinemas for a culturally diverse audience. The vision also includes opportunities to develop local performance, musical and artistic talent, through a program of workshops, classes, lessons and seminars.
