Marcy Jo’s is a southeast staple for comfort foods and need we say… cinnamon buns… The original location known as the “Mealhouse” was the brainchild of country artist Joey Feek (of the country music duo Joey+Rory) and her sister-in-law, Marcy Gary (sister to Rory Feek). Inspired by their legacy of family recipes, this roadside food attraction is a must-stop for locals and travelers alongside the I-65 corridor claiming to “change lives… one bite at a time.”
Carrying on the tradition, Rory and his youngest sister Candy opened Marcy Jo’s Muletown in the fall of 2019. The new eatery, just off the beautiful town square in Columbia, Tennessee, seats nearly a hundred guests, adds some new healthy options to the menu while continuing some of the customer favorites. Marcy Jo’s Muletown features an intimate stage for showcasing the area’s greatest songwriters and storytellers as seen on RFD-TV’s Muletown In The Round. Now owning and running sister restaurants, sisters Marcy and Candy know first hand how a homemade meal and a smile truly can “change lives… one bite at a time.”
