The historic Depot on Town Square is the location of Collierville's Visitors Center, open Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm, closed on holidays. The office offers maps, brochures, walking tours, and recommendations on the best places to eat, shop, and stay.
A little bit of history: In 1944, Collierville's existing train depot was moved from LaGrange, Tennessee and in 1976, Southern Railroad gave the depot to the Town of Collierville. As far as research can ascertain, this is the third depot to be located in Collierville since the railroad was originally chartered as Memphis Charleston Railroad in 1852. This is great spot to take-in all of Collierville's railroad history!
