The exhibits inside this historic house are dedicated to the legendary East TN fiddle player, Ralph Blizard. Ralph, known as "the da Vinci of the fiddle," was a recipient of the prestigious NEA National Heritage Award. He was also honored numerous times by the Tennessee Arts Commission and was a commissioner on the TN Arts Commission board.
The museum also houses the Traditional Appalachian Music Heritage Association (TAMHA) which promotes and supports practitioners of the music.
