DUE TO WARNINGS OF EXTREME WEATHER-THIS EVENT HAS BEEN MOVED TO SATURDAY MARCH 22N

Historic Rugby will host a full day of festivities from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm Eastern. St. Patrick's Day attire is encouraged. Here’s a rundown of Saturday’s events:

  • 10:00 AM: Two guided hikes will leave from the Visitor Centre (no registration is required). One will be led by Jackie Broeker with early spring wildflowers in evidence, the other by Stephen McClure along Rugby's bluffs. Both guides are avid hikers and know Rugby's natural areas well.

  • 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM: Meet in front of the newly-built Harrow Road Public House for a demonstration and practice for those new to Irish Road Bowling or looking for a refresher.

  • 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM: Head over to the Visitor Centre to register your team of 2,3, or 4 if you haven’t already and pick up your t-shirts (available for purchase online or when you arrive), score card and cannon ball.

  • 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM: The tournament begins at the Clear Fork Area Volunteer Fire Department (near RM Brooks Store) and winds its way back to the Public House.

  • 4:00 PM (approx.): Award winners announced.

  • Tours of Rugby’s historic buildings and Print Shop will be offered throughout the day and the commissary and art gallery will also be open. Fish and chips, Reubens, burgers, beer, and coffee will be available from the Canteen & Cottage Catering food truck, the Clear Fork Volunteer Fire Department grills, and MoCo Brewing Project. Live music will be provided by Lucas McCoy, Gerald Hanwright, and Annie Motto.

All proceeds help support the year-round preservation and educational efforts of Historic Rugby.
