2025 Tennessee Mountain Laurel Festival

10th Annual Tennessee Mountain Laurel Festival Set for May 16-17

 Wartburg, TN – The 10th Annual Tennessee Mountain Laurel Festival is set to take over the Courthouse Square on Friday, May 16 from 6:00-9:30 and Saturday, May 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time promising an early evening and full day of entertainment, shopping, and family fun. This year we are partnering with our first Title Sponsor, Heraeus Precious Metals and they are helping us secure a super fun and special event.

Friday, May 16
The festival weekend will begin on Friday, May 16 with the Pet-Friendly 1K Fun Run at 6:00 p.m. benefiting MoCo Mutts (see RunSignup.com for details)

Then from 7:00-8:30, the nationally recognized gospel group, The Griffiths, hailing from Nashville will take the stage.  The night will end with a spectacular fireworks show at 9:00 p.m.

Saturday, May 17

To kick things off on Saturday, the festival will feature 5K and 10K runs beginning at the Wartburg Visitor Center (see RunSignup.com for details).  Runners, spectators, and festival goers can then explore a wide variety of craft and food vendors, live plant sales, and exciting live performances from local and professional bands throughout the day.

One of the festival’s biggest attractions this year is Elvis!  The King himself will take the stage for a fun performance and then roam the grounds, offering fans the chance for photos and autographs.  Other special appearances include Spiderman and Ariel, bringing Disney magic to life for young attendees.

For families, the Kid’s Zone will be packed with fun activities, while those looking for a thrill can enjoy helicopter rides offering a breathtaking view of the area.  A Photo booth will also be available for guests to capture festival memories.

Additionally, flower demonstrations will take place, showcasing some of the natural beauty of Morgan County.  Potted Mountain Laurel will be available, the festival’s namesake.  Our Silent Auction is always popular and is promising to be extra, extra special this year with all new items to bid on.  Hike MoCo will be on site with their merchandise and Marathon winners.  The Photo Contest is ongoing and details can be found at tnmlf.com.  There will be more to see.  This festival will have something for everyone.
